From the Desk of Mr. Kealy
“We must pray without tiring, for the salvation of mankind does not depend upon material success...but on Jesus alone.” St. Francis Xavier Cabrini
Dear Star Parents and Families,
I would like to take a minute to thank those Star family members who are Veterans for their service. We were not able to hold our annual Veterans Day assembly due to COVID-19, but that doesn’t mean that we do not appreciate all that you have done and sacrificed for our country. Thank you so very much!
Kitsap County has not escaped the sharp increase of COVID-19 infections threatening our state. Our numbers in the county have steadily increased over the last few days and the prediction is that they will continue to increase. I am telling you this as a reminder that we need to be extremely careful over the next several weeks. Birthday parties, slumber parties and other large gatherings with people outside of your immediate family should really be avoided if possible. Also, please remember if your student requires a COVID-19 test, we will need a letter from their physician that they had a negative result or that they are cleared to be in school. We really want to keep the school open and in-person, and need your help to accomplish this.
