From the Desk of Mr. Kealy
“One of the main tasks of theology is to find words that do not divide but unite, that do not create conflict but unity, that do not hurt but heal.” Henri Nouwen
Dear Star Parents and Families, Welcome back! I hope everyone had a safe and restful break. Attached to this is a letter from the Superintendent of Catholic Schools, Mrs. Kristen Dixon. Mrs. Dixon has asked that we send this to all of our families. It includes a link to a short survey that is explained in the letter. Please take the time to read through and complete the survey. Winter testing is once again upon us. The i-Ready assessments for Kindergarten through 5th grade begins the week of the 11th of January, and the MAP for 2nd through 8th the week of the 19th. Teachers will be adjusting their schedules so that the students can have the necessary time to complete their tests, and we’re asking for your help to make sure the students are well rested, have eaten a well balanced breakfast and come to school ready to test on their designated days. Have a safe and relaxing weekend and God bless! Kevin M.
