Dear Star Parents and Families,
Wow, what a crazy couple of weeks! It seems like forever since I have been able to write to you all.
Tuesday our middle school students were in Olympia to take part in the annual March for Life. Besides being rained on
the entire time, the students enjoyed taking part in the event. Sunday marks the beginning of Catholic Schools Week. I’d like to thank all of the students, and their parents, who volunteered to help either at the Pancake Breakfast or at the Masses. You are all greatly appreciated! Make sure you check out the attached flyer for the Catholic Schools Week special events that are occurring during the week! Also, our annual “Fill the Bus for St. Vincent de Paul” Food Drive starts on Monday. A pizza party will be awarded to the class who collects the most non-perishable food items during a 1 week period.
There is an opportunity to earn volunteer hours working at the Religious Store after the 8 am and 11 am Sunday Masses. The volunteer needs only be there for about an hour. If you are interested, contact the School Office for more details.
