After school, on Mondays and Tuesdays, Our Lady Star of the Sea School provides a wide variety of fun, interesting, and challenging clubs. Clubs previously provided were study hall, student leadership, prayer and adoration, Little Flowers (a Catholic version of Brownies), spelling champions, knitting, fitness, yearbook, card making, story time, Young Writers, and Math Counts. In the past, Star’s Math Counts team has won two trophies at area math competitions. Star of the Sea School also sponsors a Cub Scout troop.
In the 2011-2012 school year, we are offering the following clubs: art, chess, fitness, story, study, yearbook, and knitting. Clubs are held from 3:15 to 3:55 pm.
Teacher-supervised detention is held two days after school – Monday and Thursday. Parents are notified in advance if their children will be detained after school.
